Favourite eyeshadows

It’s taken me years to perfect the blending game. I look back on so many old photos and cringe at the confidence I had rocking heavily packed on, unblended eyeshadow 😂 My secret to a kick ass makeup look is all about having the right products and tools. Eyeshadow formula is everything. A good eyeshadow formula means quick & easy applications with seamless results! Which is why Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadows are still my favourite. They’re soft, super pigmented & blend together so effortlessly. They’re also cruelty free 🖤

By the way, Incase you were wandering. I’m not sponsored by Anastasia Beverly Hills (I wish though!). All of their products have been purchase with my own money. I just genuinely love their products so much because they work for me & my clients 🙂

Packing my makeup bag for travel has been so much easier now that I have their magnetic palettes to house them in. These 9 shades are all I need for a simple no makeup – makeup look. To a sexy blown out smokey eye. I love to have my pop of metallics in there, for adding more dimension to my looks and also a soft nude shimmer to use as a highlighter.

A little product breakdown for you.

Sienna: Warm copper brown with a matte finish. Reminds me a lot of Brown script by MAC. I love using this shade to deepen my crease.

Bengal: Warm brown with a matte finish. This is one of my favourite transition shades. You can keep building it up to reveal a more deeper, darker shadow and enhance/create the illusion of a bigger crease.

Blazing: Medium-dark, coppery brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. This matte shade stands out to me every time, I love to mix and match this shade with everything. She goes so well with black eyeshadow. 🖤

Soft peach: Light-medium, peachy-beige with warm undertones and a matte finish.
Just a tad lighter than Orange soda by Anastasia Beverly Hills, this is my go to for those no makeup – makeup looks & I’ll also wear this in my crease if I’m only wearing a winged liner that day.

Gleam: Warm peach with a frosted finish. This shade is my favourite for inner corner highlight & for those days when I don’t know what to wear on my eyes. This also makes a kick ass cheek highlighter too.

Birkin: Medium, peachy-orange with warm undertones and a matte finish. This makes a gorgeous transition shade & can also make the perfect soft smokey eye for daywear.

Henna: Warm copper with a metallic finish. This shade is stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice. This shade pairs well with blazing & fudge. I always love creating halo eyes with Henna. I use Urban decay’s all nighter setting spray to bring out more of the metallic finish.

Fudge: Deepened, dark brown with warm, reddish tones and a matte finish.
If I had to go with just one ABH eyeshadow it would be this one. I’ve gone through almost 2 of these & I would continue to buy it. I can do a lazy, one shadow smokey eye with this shade. It’s the perfect dark brown & I love wearing this to work everyday. 🖤

Cognac: Is a rich, dark copper-brown with warm undertones with a pearl finish.
This shade is stunning washed all over the lid on its own. It’s not quite satin and it’s not really metallic. I’ve gotten so many compliments & have been asked what eyeshadow I’m wearing whenever I wear her.

Makeup looks coming shortly.

Ciao for now,
xx
